Nutanix and ChronoScale partner to package agentic AI infrastructure for on-premises data

Nutanix and ChronoScale Holdings Corporation announced a strategic partnership on August 18, 2026 to package agentic AI infrastructure for enterprises that want to run AI without moving their data outside their own environment.

The deal combines Nutanix’s agentic AI platform with ChronoScale’s accelerated compute and delivery model. Joint customers can extend into ChronoScale’s GPU-as-a-Service, buy prepaid inference capacity through what the companies call the ChronoScale Token Factory, and deploy a local ChronoScale Foundry for building agentic workflows, according to Nutanix’s announcement. Data, agents and workflow state stay inside the customer’s own environment, the companies said.

The pitch targets a specific hesitation. Many enterprises want to run AI agents on internal systems and proprietary data but are wary of sending that data to a public cloud. Prepaid tokens and on-premises GPUs are aimed at giving them cloud-like consumption without the data leaving home.

Both companies cite an existing technology relationship with Nvidia as underpinning the partnership. Neither disclosed financial terms, customer commitments or an availability date.

Packaging is not the same as adoption. The combination reads well on paper for regulated industries, but the announcement carries no named customers or pricing, so its pull will show up in deployments rather than in the release.
