Ex-SentinelOne executives launch Neo from stealth with $100M to secure AI agents

Neo, an Israeli cybersecurity startup founded by former SentinelOne executives, emerged from stealth on July 20, 2026 with $100 million in total funding to secure the autonomous AI agents now proliferating inside large companies.

The total spans a $75 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners, with Craft Ventures and Merlin Ventures participating, plus a previously undisclosed $25 million seed round from 2025. Neo did not disclose its valuation.

The company is chasing a problem that barely existed two years ago: enterprises are deploying AI agents, software that can take actions, call tools and reach systems on its own, faster than security teams can track them. Neo built a real-time control layer that inventories those agents, monitors what they do, enforces security policies and creates audit trails, aiming to give companies the same visibility over non-human actors that they have over employees.

Neo was founded by Nick Warner, SentinelOne’s former chief operating officer; Shlomi Salem, a longtime detection-engineering lead at the same company; and Eran Shirazi, a co-founder of EasySend. It employs about 50 people, 40 of them in Israel.

The pitch rides a real shift, agentic AI moving into production, but the category is crowded and unproven. Incumbent security vendors and a wave of startups are all racing to police AI agents, and no standard has emerged for what agent security should even cover. Neo has not disclosed customer numbers or deployments at scale, so the $100 million is a bet on the thesis more than evidence the product has won the market. Whether “agent security” becomes its own budget line, or folds into existing platforms, will decide how large a company like Neo can grow.
