Bending Spoons has agreed to acquire no-code database company Airtable in an all-cash deal valuing it at a $1.285 billion enterprise value, its first acquisition since the company’s Nasdaq initial public offering last month.

Adding Airtable’s net cash lifts the implied equity value to about $2.25 billion, Bending Spoons said. Airtable, whose no-code database platform lets teams build spreadsheet-style applications, reported annual recurring revenue of about $480 million as of June 2026, up more than 20% year-over-year.

The price is a sharp reset from Airtable’s boom-era peak. The company was valued at $11.7 billion in a 2021 funding round; secondary-market trades earlier in 2026 reportedly put it closer to $4 billion, and the $1.285 billion enterprise value sits below even that mark. The gap between Airtable’s 2021 valuation and its sale price is one of the starker examples of how sharply investors have repriced the software startups minted during the last funding boom.

For Bending Spoons, freshly public, the deal signals it intends to keep acquiring at scale rather than sit on its IPO proceeds. Airtable would rank among its larger enterprise-software holdings.

Bending Spoons CEO Luca Ferrari and Airtable co-founder and CEO Howie Liu both issued statements on the deal, which is expected to close later in 2026 pending regulatory approval.
