Machine learning researchers have created a neural network model to solve university-level math problems at the human level in seconds. Multivariate calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra are now no problem. The model also automatically explains solutions and quickly generates new problems for university-level mathematical subjects.

After showing machine-generated questions to university students, the researchers realized that determining the difference between algorithm-generated questions and human-generated ones is difficult. This development will greatly improve higher education, help students improve by increasing the difficulty level of some courses, and help instructors create new content.

Now AI can help not only uncover complex phenomena in biology or cosmology, as previously presented, but also be a tutor for undergraduate mathematics.
