Salesforce launches six job-ready agents as Hunter enters long-horizon pilot

Salesforce launched a portfolio of seven role-specific Agentforce agents on September 11. Six are generally available, while the seventh, Hunter, is in pilot.

The generally available lineup — Casey, Paige, Carter, Marshall, Piper and Fin — spans sales, customer service, commerce, employee support and back-office work. Hunter is an outbound sales agent designed to work from prospect research through outreach while collaborating with sellers over weeks or months. Salesforce plans to make Hunter generally available in November 2026.

Each packaged agent includes skills, actions and data models for its role and can be tailored to a customer’s processes, according to Salesforce. The company said Agent Script combines AI reasoning with deterministic rules that govern how agents make decisions and take actions.

Hunter is the first agent to use Salesforce’s new long-horizon runtime. Salesforce says the runtime can keep an agent working toward a goal across days or weeks by building a plan, incorporating new information and adjusting that plan as work continues. The company identifies memory, durable execution and dynamic steering as the runtime’s three underlying capabilities.

The announcement does not give the runtime a standalone availability date, price or customer eligibility terms. Salesforce ties its first use to pilot-stage Hunter and says more packaged and customer-built agents will use it over time. The Agentforce Coworker additions follow separate schedules. Multi-Agent Orchestration, which routes work among specialized agents, is generally available now. AI Skills, which lets employees teach Coworker a reusable task, is in pilot, with general availability planned for October 2026. Agent Optimizer is also planned for general availability in October 2026.
