Quantifind, a Palo Alto company that uses AI to detect financial crime, has raised a $200 million growth investment led by Summit Partners. Existing investors Citi Ventures, S&P Global, Deloitte and Stephens Group also took part. Summit Partners Managing Director Christopher Dean joins Quantifind’s board.
The money funds international expansion and a new product as banks face mounting pressure to screen customers and transactions for sanctions and money-laundering risk without drowning analysts in false alerts. Quantifind’s platform, Graphyte, combines a bank’s internal data with external sources and purpose-built language models to resolve entities and surface risk. The company said it already serves six of the world’s top 10 tier-one financial institutions and supports tens of thousands of compliance and national-security staff.
Alongside the round, Quantifind introduced Graphyte Agentic Middleware, an orchestration layer it says lets AI agents run multi-step risk workflows with explainability and an auditable data trail — a nod to the scrutiny regulators apply to automated decisions in banking. Quantifind said the funds will accelerate expansion across Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and the Americas.
One headline figure should be read with care. Quantifind cited a commissioned analysis estimating that tier-one banks deploying Graphyte across know-your-customer checks and sanctions screening could cut annual alert-processing costs by up to $177.9 million. That projection comes from an analysis the company paid for and has not been independently verified.
Chief Executive and co-founder Ari Tuchman framed the round as fuel for scaling the platform. Whether agentic middleware wins regulators’ trust for higher-stakes compliance decisions is the test that will determine how far the technology spreads inside banks.
